Mustard Seed Child Development and Learning Center
Please allow us to tell you a little bit about ourselves. My name is Angelina Ford and my husbands name is Matt Ford. We have three boys, Tyler, born in December of 2003, Zackary, born in June of 2006, and Colby, due on October 22, 2010.
I will be the primary care-taker and teacher, with my husband, Matt, as an educational assistant and the administrative assistant.
Having been working parents ourselves, my husband and I understand how difficult it is for parents to find, good, quality, child care. Our daycare is a warm, home-based daycare, where every child is valued and cared for as one would care for a mustard seed; watering and nurturing their needs as they grow into sprouts and then begins to grow into the beautiful flowers; God has created them to be. As research shows, security and stability, creates the strong, soil needed for a seed to be nourished and grow, into healthy flowers. Our daycare will provide the security and stability that your child needs to grow, learn, and discover the world around them.
We take our profession as child-care providers very seriously. We are not just “babysitters”. We are caring, loving individuals who are both parents and educators. Your child will be a part of the family, “our daycare family”. This will be the beginning of a partnership to care for, love, and educate your child. We are not ‘just’ a daycare either. We will be focusing on and working with the Early Childhood Education Learning Standards and K-12 Standards, provided by Washington State, to plan and teach lessons to prepare them for the next grade level and assist them within their current grade level.
